  • Notes: Simone Withers Swan (1928-2025) had a prominent public relations agency in New York City in the 1960's and early 1970's where she worked with many artists, architects and arts organizations and her client list included museums and universities. She was the founding director of the Menil Foundation in Houston from 1972-1977 and then pursued her love of architecture and was the founder of the Adobe Alliance, Inc. from 1993 until her death earlier this year.   • Condition: This lot is in overall good condition with minor craquelure throughout the canvas. This lot has surface soiling and minor paint loss in all four corners of the canvas. This lot has stretcher bar marks along the bottom of the canvas.
